Pool Pump Collect and Repair Perth — How Our Pickup Service Works

Most Perth pool pump repairs don't need to happen at your home. Our collect-and-repair model means we pick up your faulty pump, fix it in our fully equipped workshop, and return it ready to run. It is faster, more thorough, and more affordable than an on-site visit from a general handyman — and here is exactly how the process works.

Why We Collect Rather Than Repair On-Site

Pool pump motors contain precision-machined components — bearings, mechanical seals, capacitors, impellers — that need proper tooling to diagnose and replace correctly. A van-based repair limits what a technician can carry and test. Our workshop has the full range of OEM parts, a bearing press, winding test equipment, and a run-test rig that simulates real pool conditions before your pump leaves our bench.

The result: a repair that lasts, backed by a warranty, completed in a fraction of the time it would take to troubleshoot in your pump house with limited tools.

Step 1 — You Book a Collection

Call us on 0468 305 950 or fill out the quote form on our website. Tell us your pump brand, what symptoms you have noticed (noise, leak, won't start, tripping the breaker), and your preferred collection window. We service Perth north of the river from the CBD through Joondalup and Wanneroo.

Step 2 — We Collect Your Pump

Our technician arrives at the agreed time, disconnects your pump safely, and loads it onto the service vehicle. If you are eligible, we install a loan pump on the spot so your pool keeps circulating while we work on yours. No green pool, no missed swim sessions.

Step 3 — Workshop Diagnosis and Repair

Back at the workshop we strip the pump down, inspect every wear component, and identify the root cause — not just the obvious symptom. Common repairs include:

  • Bearings and mechanical seals — the number-one cause of noisy or leaking pumps.
  • Capacitors — if your pump hums but will not spin, this is usually why.
  • Impellers and diffusers — worn vanes reduce flow and increase your power bill.
  • Motor rewinds or replacements — for pumps with burnt windings or seized shafts.
  • Pump lids and o-rings — UV-damaged lids are endemic in Perth and cause air leaks that kill prime.

Every repair is run-tested under load before it leaves the bench. We check amp draw, flow rate, and seal integrity so you are not calling us back a week later.

Step 4 — Return and Reinstall

We deliver your repaired pump, reconnect it, prime the system, and run a final check with your actual plumbing. The loan pump comes out, your pump goes back in, and you are swimming again — usually within 24 to 48 hours of collection.

What Does It Cost?

A standard pool pump repair including collection and return starts from $280 including GST for residential customers. The exact price depends on the parts required, but we always confirm the cost before we proceed. There are no surprise invoices.

Trade customers (pool shops, builders, property managers) can access tiered wholesale pricing. Visit our Trade Portal for details.
